POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Bard College men's soccer team was defeated by Clarkson University, 2-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday.
Bard fell to 4-3-3 overall, 0-3-0 in the Liberty League - and through three conference games has yet to score a goal.
Clarkson (5-3-2, 1-1-1 LL) scored in the second minute when Aidan Subra (Highland Park, IL) ran onto a back-heel through ball from Kevin Calnan (Winchester, MA) and beat
Taylor Bond low for a 1-0 lead. Clarkson outshot Bard 5-4 in the first half, and it was still 1-0 when the second half began.
Subra assisted on Clarkson's second goal in the 65th minute, when his cross was headed in by Drew Lewis (Rexford, NY).
The Raptors managed just three shots on goal in the game. Bond made two saves. Michael King (Verona, NJ) made three saves for the Golden Knights.
