First-place Vassar rolls over Bard, 85-40

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Vassar College, 85-40, in a Liberty League game on Tuesday night.

The Brewers (15-3 overall, 8-1 Liberty League) took the game over after the first 10 minutes, turning a seven-point lead with 9:25 to go in an 18-point halftime lead, 38-20.

Bard (1-16, 0-8 Liberty League) didn't get closer in the second half, as the Brewers shot 54 percent from the field, thanks in large part to a 51-32 rebounding advantage for the game.

Six players scored in double figures for Vassar, led by sophomore Caitlyn Drakeley (Woodbury, CT), who finished with 17 points. Senior Hannah Senftleber (Burlington, VT) added 14 points and 14 rebounds.

The Raptors got 12 points, 10 rebounds and four steals from Tytravia Riley, and 10 points and three steals from Abbey Labrecque.
