ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Almost 11 minutes into the first half of Saturday's game, the Bard College women's basketball team had scored all of two points, and had missed all nine of its field goal attempts.

You would think they'd be out of the game with those kind of numbers.

But when Tytravia Riley snapped the eight-plus minute scoreless stretch with a three-pointer, the Raptors were amazingly down just eight. That's because both Bard and Clarkson University shot 22 percent from the field in the first half.

In the second half, Bard stayed at 22 percent, and Clarkson went up to 45 percent en route to a 54-35 Liberty League victory over the Raptors.

Bard (1-14, 0-5 Liberty League) was down 25-15 at halftime and didn't get closer than eight after the break. Ten different Clarkson players scored - none in double figures - and the Golden Knights made the most of 27 Bard turnovers.

Jovanna Snead (Poughkeepsie, NY) and Melissa Bogart (Voorheesville, NY) led the winners with nine points apiece. Clarkson is 7-7 overall, 2-4 in the Liberty League.

The Raptors got 15 points and 11 rebounds from Riley.

Up next for Bard: A trip to Skidmore Friday for a Liberty League contest at 6 p.m.
