Men's soccer team loses at Hobart

Christian Letourneau had Bard's best chance to score on Saturday.
Box Score GENEVA, N.Y. - The Bard College men's soccer team lost to Hobart College, 6-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Statesmen (6-4-1, 1-1-1 Liberty League) scored four goals in the first 29 minutes. Freshmen JP White (Falmouth, ME) and Joe Busuttil (Dix Hills, NY) each produced four points on the day, as Hobart outshot Bard, 32-2, and had an 11-2 edge in corners.

Bard's best chance to score came in the 85th minute, when Christian Letourneau's free kick from about 15 yards outside the box was stopped by senior keeper Mark Benya (Chicago, IL).

Daniel Gagne made 11 saves for the Raptors, 2-10, 0-3 Liberty League. Up next for Bard is a home Liberty League contest against Skidmore on Tuesday night at 7. You can follow that game right here via Live Stats.
