Skidmore hits 13 threes in victory over Bard

Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Skidmore College women's basketball team entered Saturday's game at Bard as the league leader in three-pointers.

They also left as the league leader in three-pointers.

Skidmore made 13-of-30 three-pointers and held Bard to two first-half field goals en route to a 63-35 victory in a Liberty League game.

Six different players hit shots from beyond the arc for Skidmore (8-8 overall, 6-1 Liberty League). Freshman Skylar Caligaris (Cambridge, MA) and senior Molly Gile (Dover, NH) made three apiece. No Skidmore player finished in double-figure scoring, but those two had nine points each.

Bard (7-9, 2-5 Liberty) struggled from the field all day, making just 2-of-26 from the floor in the first half. The Raptors shot 13 percent for the game.

The Raptors were led by freshman Tytravia Riley, who had 11 points and 16 rebounds. Junior Victoria Fleisher added 10 points and five rebounds.
