As the middle of the first half approached, it was a 10-9 game. But Union (10-5, 5-2 Liberty League) went on a 13-0 run over a seven-minute span and cruised to victory.

Union shot 62 percent in the first half and led 35-17 at the break. Bard (7-8, 1-5 Liberty League) held Union to 13 points in the second half, but managed just 12 as the shooting woes continued. The Raptors shot just 21 percent from the field in the game.

The Dutchwomen got 13 points apiece from Kelsey McDonald (Cornwall, CT) and Shayla Madden (Niskayuna, NY).

Bard freshman Tytravia Riley, who entered the game as the nation's leading rebounder, was held to nine points and 12 rebounds. She was limited by foul trouble, but she also drew a lot of attention from Union's bigger, veteran front line. Freshman Bianka Bell added eight points and five steals.
