Bard (2-4-1) outshot Green Mountain 9-2 in the first half and 16-7 on the game, but Eagles' senior keeper Nate Kishbaugh (Niskayuna, NY) made nine saves and kept the Raptors at bay. Green Mountain (2-3) produced just three shots on goal, but senior Chris Gaskin (Atlanta, GA) scored on a diving header off a direct kick by senior Ryan Laymon (Ilion, NY) early in the second half, and it proved to be enough.

Freshman Troy Robertson produced four of Bard's 16 shots, and senior Kurt Schmidlein had three. Gabe Rudd made two saves.
