ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to William Smith College, 65-31, in a Liberty League game on Friday night.

The Herons, 13-11 overall and 9-6 in the Liberty League, enter the last day of the regular season in a three-way tie for second place in the league standings. William Smith plays at Vassar on Saturday at 2.

On Friday, the Herons shot 46 percent from the field and outrebounded Bard, 43-20. Sophomore Sasha Borenstein (Agoura Hills, CA) had 13 points, sophomore Liz Douglass (Rutland, VT) added 11, and sophomore Jacqueline Murphy (Slingerlands, NY) grabbed nine rebounds in just 10 minutes of action.

Bard (1-23, 0-14) got 11 points from sophomore Victoria Fleisher (Brooklyn, NY). The Raptors wrap up the season at home on Saturday at 2 against RIT.
