POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Clarkson University, 96-25, on Saturday afternoon in a Liberty League game.

Bard, 1-21 overall and 0-13 in the Liberty League, was down 51-7 at halftime, after the Golden Knights shot 67 percent (20-for-30) from the field in the first half. The Raptors turned the ball over 18 times in the first 20 minutes.

Clarkson (8-14, 3-11) got 17 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and six steals from senior Carey Turner (Clifton Park, NY) and nine points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots from senior Chrissy Scanlon (Queensbury, NY). The Golden Knights next play on Friday, at Union College at 6 p.m.

Bard got 12 points and four rebounds from freshman Liz Freud, six points from Victoria Fleisher, and five points and four rebounds from Imani Jones. The Raptors next host Vassar on Tuesday night at 6.
