CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to regular season Liberty League champion St. Lawrence University, 85-19, on Friday night.

The Raptors (1-20 overall, 0-12 Liberty League) turned the ball over seven times in the first seven minutes, and finished the game with 37 turnovers. St. Lawrence took 29 more shots than Bard did to improve to 18-4 overall, 14-0 in the Liberty League.

Twelve different players scored for St. Lawrence, led by freshman Maddy Wetterhahn (Adams, MA), who finished with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists. Freshman Adriana Spicer (Watertown, NY) added 11 points. The Saints host Vassar on Saturday afternoon at 2.

Bard got nine points and three rebounds from freshman Liz Freud, and four points apiece from freshman Joanna Regan and sophomore Victoria Fleisher. The Raptors will play at Clarkson on Saturday afternoon at 2.
