YONKERS, N.Y. - Just a couple of days after being named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week, Bard College junior
Jacob Hartog scored twice in the first half on Wednesday night to lead the Raptors to a 2-0 victory over Mount St. Vincent.
The win keeps Bard, 4-2 in the Skyline Conference and 6-7 overall, in the thick of the playoff hunt. The Raptors have won three straight games.
Both of Hartog's goals were unassisted. In the 15th minute, he weaved through defenders and scored to the near post. Then in the 41st minute, he dribbled between defenders again and banked a shot in off the far post. Bard goalkeeper
Deven Connelly (High Falls, NY) made five saves.
The Raptors play another crucial Skyline Conference game on Saturday at 1 at Old Westbury.
