Montgomery Place

Bard Montgomery Place campus is home to our men's and women's cross country courses. The 380-acre estate, adjacent to the main campus, overlooks the Hudson River and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. The estate has rolling hills, woodlands, gardens, a farm, and orchards, all set against the backdrop of the Catskill Mountains. The course runs on neatly cut grass and the paths form a natural barrier. There are 5K, 6K and 8K courses for competition. There are two hills on the course that runners pass over twice for the 5K and 6K and three times for the 8K, ideal for true cross country.
