Andy Salvatore came to Bard in the summer of 2012.
Before Bard, Andy was an assistant coach at Oswego State University for three seasons. During his time in that role, the team had the highest GPA for any men's team at the school, and in 2012, they doubled their number of conference wins from the previous two seasons.
Andy attended Oswego State and played baseball there. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching. While a player at Oswego State, he was part of the ECAC Championship team in 2010, and won the 2010 Oswego Dan Dalbis Memorial Award for "Attitude, Perseverance and Dedication."
Over the years, Andy has worked with youth athletics in LaGrange, N.Y., and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and participated in the Oswego State Athletic Volunteer Program from 2007-2010.
Andy lives in nearby Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
