Sarah Lombard came to Bard in 2010.
Lombard was an assistant coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009-2010, where she helped guide the Engineers to the Liberty League Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament appearance, just the second such berth for the school.
A native of nearby Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Lombard was a four-year standout at SUNY-Oswego, leading the team to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2005 and 2006. She was a three-time All-SUNYAC selection and finished her collegiate career ranked seventh in school history with 1,098 points.
Lombard, who has coached at various basketball clinics and camps throughout the Capital Region, graduated from SUNY-Oswego in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Health & Promotional Wellness Management. She also performs a dual role as Assistant Athletics Director at Bard College in areas of event administration and club sports.
