Dieter Treusdell came to Bard in August of 2017.
He came to Bard after one season as an assistant coach at Vassar College, where he helped lead the Brewers to what at the time (2016) was the best record in school history. Treusdell worked primarily with Vassar's attackmen and faceoff specialists. While at Vassar he was also responsible for handling intramural programs and event staff for varsity contests.
A native of Painted Post, N.Y., Dieter played high school lacrosse at Corning West, where he was a Section IV First Team attackmen. He led the team to a sectional championship in 2010.
He played collegiately at SUNY Cortland, where he was part of three SUNYACÂ Championship teams, and one national championship appearance in 2012. He finished his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science there in 2014.
As he completed his Master's Degree in Business Administration at North Greenville University, he played one season for the Div. II Crusaders, leading the team with 40 points in 2015.
