ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Bard College junior
Luca Costanzo was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll on Monday afternoon by the league office.
Costanzo has been an unstoppable force during Bard's 2-0 week. He totaled 7 points with three goals and an assist. Costanzo has improved his level from a second-string forward to now starting all eight games for Bard; he has totaled four goals and two assists already this season.
In the victory against Old Westbury, Costanzo scored twice, scoring in the 17th minute and in the 80th minute. He had three shots (all on target).
In the shutout win over Morrisville, Costanzo scored his second game-winning goal, scoring in the 13th minute with a beautiful header goal in the top left corner off a corner kick. He assisted the third goal that Bard scored, as the third goal scored came from
Pierre Deliso (first collegiate goal and first appearance playing for Bard). He had two shots (one on target).
He has helped Bard start 7-1 in eight games, and it is the first time since 2015 to hit seven wins in a season.
This marks Costanzo's first career Honor Roll and the second one of the season for Men's Soccer.
