Alaina Walker will be inducted into the Albertus Magnus High School Hall of Fame

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Bard College head women's basketball coach Alaina Walker will be inducted into the Albertus Magnus High School Hall of Fame on February 7th at 6:30 p.m.

"I am so grateful to be inducted into the Albertus Magnus High School Hall of Fame," said Walker. "The lessons, friendships, and memories I made here shaped the person and player I became. Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches, and community for believing in me every step of the way."

In high school, she made First Team All-State and All-Section her senior year, averaging 20.3 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 5.3 apg, and 2.6 spg. She was named Rockland County Player of the Year. Additionally, she was the all-time leading scorer in Albertus history up until February 2025. She earned the Journal News Player of the Year award in her Junior and Senior years. 

Walker made Fourth Team All-State her Junior year with averages of 22.3 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 6.2 apg, and 2.0 spg. Three times she was named All-League, including her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons.

After graduating from Albertus Magnus, Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University. She was a three-year starter for the Bonnies dating back to her sophomore season. In her junior year, she helped the team make a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament and was named to the Atlantic-10 Conference All-Defensive Team during her junior year.

Walker will be inducted along with Kyle Hoffer '07, Colleen Sullivan Groves '95, Bill Heilferty '74, and the 1990 Girls Soccer team.
