RECAP: Cross Country competes at Vassar Ron Stonitsch Invitational

The Bard College cross country team traveled to Vassar for its second meet of the season on Saturday morning. The men's team ran their first 6K of the year while the women ran the 5K.

On the men's side, Ilyas Hotak and Charlie Grenadier ran a personal best with Grenadier shaving off a minute of his time and Hotak shaving off close to three minutes. Elijah Flynn, Bo Hopwood and Johnny Henriquez all ran their first 6K in their career.

On the women's side, Anna Shtandenko ran her first meet of the season as a Raptor. Madeline Clark ran a personal best, shaving off nearly a minute of her time. Alex Laskowski, Chloe Desautels and Kai Roper all ran their first 5K in their career.

Bard will be back next Saturday as they host the Fred Pavlich Invitational at Montgomery Park, with the first race at 9:30 a.m.
