Facilities position

Regan and Gomez Assume New Positions

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Two current staff members are shifting their focus within the Bard College Department of Athletics and Recreation.

Allison Regan has been appointed as the new Facilities Coordinator while retaining her role as the Assistant Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach. Regan is responsible for maintaining the indoor and outdoor athletic facilities to include the fitness center, the strength and conditioning areas, and the main gymnasium in the Stevenson Athletic Center along with the outdoor athletic complex. She will be responsible for upkeep, inventory, and equipment maintenance and will assist in scheduling and organizing the daily use of athletic facilities. Regan will also oversee reservations and liaise with external groups interested in renting athletic space while overseeing the student staff who work to support the overall operations of the department. 

"As Bard Athletics continues to grow, I am excited and honored to be taking on the role of Facilities Coordinator," said Regan. "I would like to thank the hiring committee for trusting me with the continued development of all of our facilities." 

Justin Gomez becomes the Athletics Development Coordinator and will retain his positions as Associate Head Baseball Coach and Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (ADID). In his new role, Gomez will support the department's fundraising initiatives by organizing the annual Golf Outing, the Raptors' Call to Give, and establishing new initiatives to bring in additional gifts. He will also work to maintain and improve department-wide sponsorships.

"I couldn't be more excited to take on this new role as Athletic Development Coordinator," said Gomez. "I'm grateful for the chance to make an impact and eager to help raise the resources our department needs to continue growing and supporting our Raptors."

Director of Athletics Stefanie Carrington said of Gomez and Regan; "They've each been dedicated to the upward growth of our department since arriving in Annandale and I'm really pleased to be able to move them both into positions that will maximize their strengths for the good of our entire community. I look forward to what we can continue to accomplish together."
