The Bard College men's and women's swimming teams traveled to take on St. Joseph's (LI) on Saturday afternoon. Bard showed signs of improvement, despite dropping the decision 26-55 on the women's side and 42-58 on the men's side.
The Raptors are making strides as they continue their season, recording three personal best times. On the men's side,
Reece Sherf cut his 100 breaststroke time by over two seconds, recording a time of 1:15.99. He also finished first in the 200 freestyle.
Hal Beatty raced his first 200 IM in his career, finishing first with a time of 2:29.67.
On the women's side,
Rose Rahimi crushed her old time in the 200 free, racing 2:58.96, a personal record by almost six seconds. Rahimi also had a quick 100 freestyle time of 1:21.27.
Maya Remick also showed improvement, swimming a personal best time of 1:37.62 in the 100 breaststroke.
The Raptors will travel to Delhi on Saturday for a 1 p.m. start.
