Tucker Glass came to Bard in January of 2019, after two years as the head coach at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
A native of Oswego, N.Y., Glass played collegiately at SUNY Plattsburgh as he pursued a B.A. in History. He earned State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic honors in 2009 and 2010, and made the SUNYAC Commissioner's List in 2011. As captain in his senior year, he made the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team, and completed his Master's Degree in Adolescent Education at Plattsburgh in 2012.
Glass was SAAC president at SUNY Plattsburgh for two years and represented all student-athletes from the Empire 8 and the SUNYAC as a member of the NCAA Div. III SAAC. After receiving his Master's, Glass was a full-time post graduate intern in Governance at the NCAA for the 2013-14 academic year, before taking a job as a women's lacrosse assistant coach at Hartwick College.
Glass is also an Assistant Athletic Director. His duties in that role are varied.
