Bard College Athletics

Tucker Kear joined the staff at Bard College in 2012.

Kear came to Bard from Union College, where he was an assistant coach for five years, and the Associate Head Coach for one year. His recruiting efforts helped Union become one of the top teams in the Liberty League.

In 2011, Kear received the Division III Oustanding Assistant Coach Award from the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA).

A native of South Salem, N.Y., Kear played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts and Butler University.

Tucker is also an Assistant Athletic Director at Bard.
